Heya guys...Been realli busy...But mus update at least three times a wk cos Hui Ting has been disturbin and kept askin me to do this...

So ya...Been realli busy...Managed to went down to visit GessBand on Thurs...Managed to squeeze some time after my lessons,cos not like 1st sem like that,can go down real early...Expected to see at least 25 bandits but in the end,e whole trombone section MIA...Totally got a shock when i got into e room...It's like e moment i step in,e space that trombones usually sat at totally empty lor...Totally chua teo...And the band wasn't realli doin quite as well as i thought they were lor...maybe becos no trombones that day,so quite weird...but the tubas got improve a bit lor...at least e sound quality was better...but still unsure abt fingering...was quite disappointed when i didn't manage to see Zhe Yang in the room...cos i spent quite a lot of time and effort to get him back into band...And he suddenly jus MIA lor...so ya...quite sad...And the rest were quite ok la...Trumpets would do much better if they hav more confidence in their skills and abilities lor...Could be so much better if they play out more and louder lor...so ya...And the clarinets were as strong as usual...no problem with e notes,but could do with more feelings and express more lor...so ya...I not worried abt e woodwinds cos they are as strong as ever,no prob with e piece but could express themselves more...I worry more for the brasses cos their musical skills and musical abilities are not as strong as e woodwinds but instead they are slightly more expressive in comparison to the woodwinds...hmmm...Maybe they shld exchange ideas with each other...Lastly,i think that they still lack exposure...Hope they get more chance to conduct exchanges with other school bands...But i doubt they will be willin ba...Cos i think their atttude a bit slack and they a bit lazy lor...so ya...
